# Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and line a 13x18-inch sheet pan with parchment paper.
- Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl until well blended.
- Beat butter and sugar in a large mixing bowl with an electric mixer until light and fluffy, about 3 to 4 minutes.
- Add eggs one at a time, beating thoroughly after each addition, then mix in the vanilla extract.
- Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients in three parts, alternating with the milk and beginning and ending with the dry mixture. Mix until just combined.
- Pour batter into the prepared sheet pan and level the surface with an offset spatula.
- Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center emerges clean.
- Cool cake completely in the pan on a wire rack.
- Beat butter on medium speed until creamy. Gradually add powdered sugar, mixing thoroughly. Incorporate vanilla extract and enough milk or cream to achieve the desired consistency.
- Divide frosting as needed and tint portions using food coloring for the base, decorative borders, and Class of 2026 piping.
- Spread an even layer of colored frosting over the cooled cake. Use piping bags fitted with round and star tips to create borders and write 'Class of 2026.' Add sprinkles or edible decorations as desired.
- Refrigerate the decorated cake for 30 minutes prior to serving to firm up the frosting.
